New Terminator film to be released in the past

The new Terminator film will utilise new cutting-edge time manipulation techniques in order to be released at some point in the past.

James Cameron has returned to produce the sequel on the proviso that neither plot nor release schedule conform to accepted constraints of the time/space continuum.

“Yeah, we’re still thrashing out the exact release date,” said a studio insider.

“Jim’s pretty keen on releasing the picture in 1985, just after the first one, but we really want to capitalise on the new 3D release of Terminator 2, so we think we should release this new movie back in 1993, just when everyone was really going Terminator crazy.”

James Cameron had been developing the new time manipulation film release technology for some years and was considering using it to re-release Titanic in 1912, 85 years before it came out originally.

“Yeah, I guess he thought that might be a little insensitive. So, he’s decided to trial the tech with the Terminator.”

It is unclear exactly how the technology will work, but it is thought that once released in the past, everyone who went to see it will immediately remember having seen it, and thinking it was pretty good but not quite as good as the second one.

Other people who didn’t get to see it at the cinema will have a recollection of popping to Blockbusters to rent a copy on the way home from work.
