PS Plus is being revamped and Sony promises it will offer a far wider choice of cheap second-rate games no one cares about than the current version of PS Plus.
From the 3 free cheap second-rate games no one cares about at the moment, Sony is promising to expand its offering to potentially hundreds of cheap second-rate games no one cares about all available to stream on demand.
“For fans of cheap second-rate games no one cares about, this new PS Plus is a really exciting development,” explained Sony representative Stewart James.
“Hundreds of games, from the ones advertised in the back of game magazines with art that looked like it was created by a bored AI to the ninth sequel in a series you thought ended in 2009 – all available for you to play instantly and then discard after five minutes to get back to Gran Turismo.”
Sony have yet to announce exactly what games will be available, largely because they want at least some people to sign up to their new service in the vain hope that it won’t be full of cheap Japanese RPGs full of underdressed girls that make you feel like you need a shower after playing.
The new PS Plus will be available in June, will cost far too much money for what it really is, and is probably best ignored in favour of trying to finish Elden Ring instead.
