New Paranormal Activity film is true story of ghost making a Paranormal Activity film while couple sleeps

The latest installment of the hit Paranormal Activity franchise is to tell what producers purport is the true story of a couple who experienced some extremely strange phenomena.

Set in 2011, the film will tell the story of the Bickersons who, over the course of four weeks, were haunted by a terrifying entity that directed and edited Paranormal Activity 3 in their spare room while they slept.

“I know, it’s a crazy story, right?” explained producer Jason Blum.

“But, you know, no one really understands how or why Paranormal Activity 3 was made, so for all I know, it’s true.”

The Bickersons are a newlywed couple who find one morning that there is a video camera set up in their spare room and the bed looks like it’s been slept in.

The following night they are awoken by a hideous voice shouting ‘Cut, let’s do that one again.’

Convinced that something is wrong, Steve Bickerson buys a surveillance camera and sets it up in the spare room, only to discover that every night a mysterious presence is directing Paranormal Activity 3.

“The haunting lasted about a month,” explained Blum, “because, you know, it doesn’t take long to make a Paranormal Activity picture.

“Then the presence left them, and everything got back to normal.”

If successful, the latest installment of the franchise could well be followed by another film that tells the story of how producer Jason Blum was haunted by a terrifying entity that convinced him that Paranormal Activity 3 was made by ghosts.
