In a move likely to surprise many fans, a new Marvel film will not conclude with a giant flying special effect being destroyed and slowly crashing to the earth while the hero makes amusing quips and just about gets everyone out in time.
The Avengers: The Goodies Punch all the Baddies will instead finish with fifteen minutes of all the film’s characters sitting done quietly and thinking about what they’ve done.
“No dialogue, no special effects,” confirmed producer Kevin Feige.
“Just Ant-Man, Thor, the Hulk and whoever that guy from Hurt Locker plays – Jimmy Arrowman or whatever.
“Just those guys sitting quietly and thinking about things. Possibly while it rains.
“I really think this is what the fans want.”
However, there is some scepticism.
“This is definitely not what I want,” said Marvel fan Jerry Avenger.
“It’s a Marvel movie. We’ve had four hundred and ninety one Marvel movies with a giant special effect falling out of the sky at the end and I, for one, want to see four hundred and ninety two.
“If I wanted to see grumpy people sulking in the rain then I’d watch a DC movie.”
