A new documentary about how dreadful an experience going to the cinema is will debut next year on Netflix

The documentary, called ‘Popcorn smells like sick’ will feature explosive testimony from film industry insiders and ordinary punters and will set to definitively prove that the cinema is just rubbish.

“Oh man, this is going to blow everything wide open,” said director Matt Schwimmer

“We got one guy who tells the story of how he walked into the theatre, fell over and smashed his nose open on a human femur that had been discarded from a hot-dog, then he has to sit through four hours of commercials for German cars and then, just before the film starts, he sees his wife having full sex with his brother in the front row.”

“Did you know that the average cinema seat has more urine in the material than it does material? Did you know that popcorn is made of brains? Did you know that all theatre bathrooms contain cameras in the cubicles?”

“You know, it’s 2017. It’s not 1950. Going to the cinema is a terrible experience. It’s about someone made a stand against it and that’s what we’re doing here.”

This Netflix exclusive is unlikely to make it to the big screen
