Man who’s never seen Marvel film wants a bloody medal or something

A man who has never seen a Marvel film appeared, this morning, to want a bloody medal or something.

Chris Downey, a beard topiarist from Brighton, took to Twitter to make the world aware of his astonishing feat.

‘Actually,’ began the tweet, inevitably.

‘I’ve never seen a Marvel film, so I didn’t really know what all the fuss is about.’

“Yeah, I don’t really go in for those big blockbuster movies,” confirmed Mr Downey when quizzed.

“I mean, I did when I was a kid, but now I’m a bit older, I prefer something with a bit more to say, like Green Book, which is actually about how racism can be solved if black people and white people just talk to each other.

“Sometimes, I even watch really old films like Godfather and spend ages thinking about what they really mean.”

Reluctantly, Mr Downey agreed that his decision to not watch a Marvel film might well be worthy of a bloody medal or something.

“Well, I suppose I am a bit of a free thinker who doesn’t follow the crowds, so if people think that’s worth a medal or something, then who am I to turn it down.

It is understood that Mr Downey is also currently awaiting his parade or wahtever for revealing last week that he’d never seen Game of Thrones.
