A man who took to Facebook to announce is that he didn’t like the first episode of the final season of Game of Thrones genuinely seems to think that anyone gives a shit.
Jamie Stark, a part-time boil-lancer from Chelmsford, Essex, made the decision to dislike the new Game of Thrones episode several weeks before he saw it as he was under the mistaken impression that people would think him to be some sort of free-thinking iconoclast.
“Controversial opinion here,” wrote Mr Stark.
“But I really didn’t like that episode at all.”
Several pages of absurdly flowery language about dragons then followed which, sadly, remained unread by everyone because no one was able to find it in themselves to give a shit about what a part-time boil-lancer from Chelmsford thinks about the latest Game of Thrones episode.
Happily, Mr Stark remained oblivious to the wave of antipathy towards his opinion on the new episode.
“Yes, I’m sure that my radical opinions really set the cat amongst the pigeons,” he chuckled
“Believe me, it won’t be the last time I do it either, I’ve already decided I’m not going to like the next Star Wars film either because I can think for myself and don’t just give in to a load of industry hype.”
At the time of writing, Mr Stark’s Facebook post has one like, from his Mum, who he told to like it.
