Man uses traffic jam to remind companion what has happened to them in the last hour

A man has used the inconvenience of a traffic jam to his advantage by using the time to remind his companion of the events of the previous hour.

After honking the car horn in a vain attempt to clear up a three-mile traffic jam, the man’s companion inexplicably said “I don’t understand, what are we doing here?”

Looking at his companion wearily, the man lit up a cigarette and sighed.

“You remember, our buddy disappeared after discovering evidence that there was a group of corrupt cops working out of the sixth precinct.”

“Oh yeah, that’s right,” said the companion, “but what are we doing here, now?”

“We found that phone number, remember? In our buddy’s phone, and it was for that reporter who might have an idea where our buddy’s gone, and we’re going to see him.”

The companion nodded, thoughtfully.

“I don’t know what’s the matter with you,” said the man.

“It’s not like this happened a week ago or anything. Having to explain to you everything that happened in the last hour is kind of weird.”

“Yeah,” agreed the companion, “if only there was a way to show me a short thirty second or so montage of the events of the last hour. That would have made everything clearer.”

They both nodded in agreement before the man pointed excitedly.

“Look, the traffic’s clearing up after being completely blocked for just enough time for me to explain what’s been happening.”

“Let’s go!”
