Love Island viewers ‘grossed out’ by constant flatulence

Following last week’s complaints from viewers about the noise of couples snogging, it seems that it is now the near constant sound of flatulence that is proving tough for fans.

In this week’s episode alone there were over twenty rectal outbursts, which works out at one every three minutes.

“I’m grossed out a bit to be honest,” explained long-standing Love Island fan and Green Party leader Caroline Lucas.

“I mean, there was a bit the other night with Anton and Belle, and it was getting romantic, and they were on the beach, and he went in to kiss her and she just did this massive fart.

“I mean, she apologised and explained that the fish finger enchilada she had for tea was giving her an upset tummy, but it was still really gross.”

Some fans have even stopped watching the show entirely.

“It was Ovie and Anna in bed,” said ex-fan Christine Lagarde.

“They were clearly getting frisky with each other and, being French, I enjoy that sort of thing, but then Ovie passed gas with such force and volume that the duvet moved.

“Anna went to be sick and I decided at that moment that there was to be no more Love Island for me this year.”

ITV have, as yet, made no move to curb the excessive flatulence, but they may need to do something or the programme could suffer the biggest drop in viewers since 2016’s catastrophic outbreak of diarrhea.
