Speaking about the much anticipated prequel to Game of Thrones, author George RR Martin appeared to confirm that it will be set on the moon.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly Martin said that the prequel was set in ‘a very different place’ to the original show which can only mean that it is set on the moon.
“Stands to reason,” said Game of Thrones expert and world class masturbator Peter Clarke.
“Game of Thrones, right? It’s set in the past, so they didn’t really have space back then.
“They had Westeros, which everyone knew about because they lived in it, as well as the sun and the moon.
“Now, it can’t be set on the sun because that would definitely be too hot, so if its set in a different place to Westeros, it must be set on the moon.
“I mean, that’s just science.”
With excitement growing about boobs and dragons on the moon, there is a concern about how characters will breath.
“Two options,” said Clarke, confidently.
“Westeros is like Earth, only a bit different. There’s zombies and magic and nudity, so maybe the moon is a bit different too and it’s got air on it.
“Either that or they all wear space helmets.”
Whilst setting the prequel on the moon seems the most likely interpretation of Martin’s words, there have been other theories suggested.
“What, that bloke on twitter who reckons it’s going to be set in Chelmsford?” Scoffed Clarke.
“That’s just mental.”
