Fans of Spiderman films will be thrilled, if not surprised, to learn that there are a further four new Spiderman films due out before Christmas this year.
‘Spiderman: Manspider,’ ‘Spiderman: Another One,’ ‘Spiderman: What’s that? 8? 9?’ And ‘Spiderman: Whatever,’ will be released on a monthly basis until Christmas followed by a break of two months before returning with ‘Spiderman: Well, it’s been two months, so why not?’
The new films come hot on the heels of ‘Spiderman: The Last One.’
“Yeah, we’ve done something like a million Spiderman pictures since 2002 and people keep going to see them,” said Producer Kathleen Lucas
“So, what the hell? I mean, may as well crank out a bunch more until people get sick of them.”
Spidey superfan Tom Garfield-Maguire was worryingly excited.
“Woah, yeah, more Spidey pictures. Alright, that’s what I’m talking about. Hell yeah. I said, that’s what I’m talking about” shouted the 56-year old Independent Financial consultant.
“You can’t have enough Spidey films, you know? People say – ‘haven’t we had enough Spidey films? I mean, there seems to be one constantly about to be released’ – and I say ‘HELL NO! More Spidery films, yo! Spidey rules.”
Mr Garfield-Maguire then recommended an excellent mutual fund for low-risk returns and wet himself with excitement.
The plots to the new films have yet to be revealed but it is expected that they will all feature Peter Parker getting bitten by a spider, developing his powers and a poorly-judged masturbation joke about uncontrollably shooting out ‘webbing’ at an inopportune moment.
