Die Hard with a Vengeance

Bruce Willis stars as Barry Die Hard. Having learnt his lesson, he’s now sensibly avoiding large structures where terrorists congregate but, oh no! A terrorist still finds him and makes him muck about while terrorist’s friends steal all the gold in New York or something. Samuel L Jackson turns up to be shouty and then mysteriously disappears at the end.

Trivia

The opening billboard scene was filmed in Lancashire. The billboard originally saying ‘I hate Eccles Cakes.’ The Bronx and the real billboard phrase were added digitally.

Bruce Willis and Samuel L Jackson got on so well on the film that they formed a vigilante crime-fighting duo who would patrol the streets of New York protecting the innocent.

Jeremy Irons helped promote the film by releasing a cover version of Bobby Brown’s My Prerogative.

To settle any debate, it is a Christmas film.

Bloopers

In the film, Jeremy Irons’ Simon supposedly steals from the Federal Reserve. However, the Federal Reserve has been hidden somewhere on the Channel Island of Guernsey since 1978 to prevent such an attempt.
