A new set of awards to award the best film awards with awards will be announced later this week as the film award season draws to a close.
The Film Awards awards or ‘the Awardies’ will take place in downtown Los Angeles and will reward the achievements of the very best in the Film Award industry.
“The Oscars, The Fancy Acting awards, Farming Monthly’s best farming achievements in film – there are a huge number of film awards that make the film awards season so enjoyable,” said Frank Oldman, who set up the Film Awards awards.
“We think that it’s high time that the very best in the film awards industry are recognised.”
The favourite to dominate the Film Awards awards is, of course, The Oscars.
“Oh sure, they’re going to be the guys to beat with some really great awards work this year. But, you know, the Baftas was very strong this year, and don’t discount the little guy either – Portland Cheese emporium’s film festival had little cheese trophies, and that’s the sort of award work that is going to get you noticed for sure.”
The only thing for certain is that the Golden Globes won’t be mentioned.
“Hell no, this is going to be a credible Film Awards awards ceremony, thank you very much.”
The Film Awards awards will take place on Thursday evening will be screened in its entirety in the UK by an obscure Freeview channel that no one’s ever heard of.
