Enola Holmes 2: How Millie Bobby Brown used her weird psychic powers to make sequel happen

Enola Holmes was a solid family adventure film. It stood up well on its own terms and was never considered to be the first entry in a potential franchise.

Star Millie Bobby Brown’s weird psychic brain powers changed all that.

“I really, really enjoyed playing Enola, and I was disappointed that Netflix wanted to leave it as one film,” explained Millie.

“So, using my spooky mind powers, I made the writer stop whatever he was doing. He was at a wedding rehearsal, I think, sometimes it’s hard to understand exactly what people are doing when I take control of them. Anyway, I made him stop what he was doing. Go home, and write Enola Holmes 2. By limiting him to one bathroom break a day, he got the whole thing written in three days.”

The next people standing in the way of Millie’s sequel were the executives at Netflix. So she visited the building in person, temporarily took control of the security and, with her new small mind-controlled army, marched into the CEO’s office with her script.

“He was resistant at first, but then I entered his mind and showed him how exquisite the pain I can cause in a man’s head can be. He greenlit the sequel soon enough.”

A little psychic nudge and the cast and crew were happy to return. When filming was finished, she removed her control from everyone.

“Of course I did, I’m not a monster,” laughed Millie.

“I just needed to control them while we were making the film, I’ve freed them all now to go back to their lives until I need them again.

“Except Henry [Cavill], of course, he’s my underpants butler now.”
