Donald Trump offers refugee status to Middle Earth’s Nazgûl

Although the Donald Trump government is committed to cutting down on immigration into the US, the President has announced he will be granting refugee status to one of Middle-Earth’s most controversial peoples; the Nazgûl.

“The Nazgûl are fine people. Very fine people,” said the President.

“They had some problems back when there were the wars over that ring but I don’t know what was going on there. Who knows what was going on there? It was a long time ago and I think there were fine people involved. Fine people involved on both sides.”

Since the War of the Ring, the remaining Nazgûl have fought to live quiet lives of evil and horror. Considered Sauron’s most loyal warriors they have, however, become unpopular in their homelands.

“What they’re doing to the Nazgûl, it’s difficult. It’s rough. It’s really not very nice at all so I think that we should look after them. We should protect them. I think the Nazgûl could really fit in in my America.”

Controversially, he hasn’t made a similar offer to those Hobbits displaced by the scouring of the Shire or, indeed, any of the Middle-Earth people who fought against Sauron in the war. Only the Nazgûl.

Although, in recent times, Saruman has stepped back from his role the the Trump administration there his speculation that he may have influenced the new announcement.

It is thought that the President will also soon make similar offers of refugee status to former Empire Stormtroopers, members of Voldemort’s army, and Thanos.
