‘The Conjuring: Farts of Satan’s Bottom’ sees the Warrens tackle diabolical flatulence

The new film in the huge Conjuring franchise now has a name – The Conjuring: Farts of Satan’s Bottom – and sees the Warrens tackle diabolical flatulence.

“The Warrens have investigated evil and terrifying situations before but never anything really, really smelly,” said director Michael Chaves.

It’s Seattle 1982. The Harris family house suddenly begins to smell. Dad initially gets the blame, but he insists it’s the dog. However, when the smell gets even worse they are left with no choice but to ask the Warrens for help.

“It’s crazy. They try everything. Opening the windows, air fresheners, nice scented candles, but the smell just lingers in the house. Of course, the Warrens figure out what’s going on straight away. It’s diabolical flatulence. It’s literally the devil farting into the family house.”

The film sees the Warrens finally meet their greatest adversary, the devil himself.

“Oh man, this is like nothing we’ve seen before. The Warrens are experts, and they consult all their books, and pray to, you know, whoever, and they discover that the only way to stop the devil dropping his guts in the Harris household is to treat with him. In person.

“So, they conjure up Satan. Actual Satan. Then they convince the devil to eat more fibre and drink more water and that should stop him feeling so bloated and farty.

“Does it work? You’ll have to watch the film to find out.”

The Conjuring: Farts of Satan’s Bottom is released in September will be accompanied by a series of promotional whoopee cushions, corks, and stink bombs.
