Disney has announced that a new ride at its world-famous Disney World will be based on Oscar winning movie Darkest Hour.

It is understood that the theme park as attempting to stretch its core demographic from small, nauseous children to middle-aged film fans who think they’re a bit highbrow because the films they like don’t have The Rock in.

“Darkest Hour is going to be a great ride,” said Disney exec Gary Thomas.

“Fans are going to feel like they’re literally reliving the events of the movie.”

He went on to explain what to expect on the ride.

“So, initially you’ll find yourself travelling through a room with a lot of emotionally repressed British men talking to each other.

“Then, excitingly, you’ll be seamlessly whisked into a slightly different room with a lot of emotionally repressed British men talking to each other.

“This portion of the ride will go on longer than it really needs to before, finally, you will experience a magical yet utterly incongruous journey into the London Underground.

“The ride will then come to a halt leaving everyone with the feeling that they could have done a bit better considering what it was based on.”

As well as Darkest Hour, Disney has also announced other new rides based on Locke, Moonlight, and Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri.
