Producers have announced that Chris Pratt will provide the voices for all the dinosaurs in the upcoming final film in the Jurassic World trilogy.

“I’m pleased to confirm that Chris will be providing the roars, growls, and the limited dialogue for all CGI dinosaurs in the new picture,” explained producer Stewart James.

In previous films, sound effects, foley work and animal recordings were combined to provide dinosaur sound-effects.

“We believe that Chris, as the world’s premier voiceover artist, will be able to give the dinosaurs an authenticity and personality that previous special effects have been unable to do,” continued Mr James.

“Certainly, I’ve heard his Pteranodon and, believe me, it’s like being in a room with one. I defy anyone to tell the difference between Chris and the real-life dinosaur. It’s uncanny.

“And his Giganotosaurus gives the creature a real pathos and tragedy that simply hasn’t been there before.”

The announcement follows news that Pratt will be providing voices for Super Mario, The Grinch, Garfield, the 101 Dalmatians, the Moon in Moonfall, all of the Minions, the shark in The Meg 2, and the abbey in Downton Abbey: A New Era.

Producers have yet to confirm or deny reports that, as well as voicing the dinosaurs, Pratt will also be providing the voice for Bryce Dallas Howard’s character in the upcoming film.
