Activision has faced criticism for introducing a special explicit gay sex emote to celebrate Pride month.
On both Warzone, and Black Ops 6 online, if players access the emote wheel, they’ll find a rainbow Pride flag. Using that, the character will perform a random gay sex act, such as oral, frotting, or full naked anal sex with another man.
“I mean, it’s a bit much,” said Vada Palone, a Call of Duty fan.
“If nothing else, the anal sex thing took about five minutes. The whole match had ended before my character finished.”
“But look, mainly, I don’t think that there’s any place for all that gay stuff in a game about burly men running around with other burly men holding their huge weapons that shoot stuff out.”
Another online player, Stewart James, was equally critical.
“I’ve watched that full, naked gay sex emote a lot. The whole five minutes of it. Every time I watch it, I’m disgusted. Disgusting, I tell you.”
The emote will be removed at the end of the month as Pride month ends and gay people’s lives no longer matter.
“That’s okay,” said Stewart, “I’ve made a video of it, so I’ll be able to watch it whenever I like.”
