A Breaking Bad movie has been announced that will focus on Jessie Pinkman’s attempts to set up a nice bakery.
Surprisingly, creator Vince Gilligan has the script written and it is reportedly a light-hearted, charming comedy.
“The story of Jessie setting up a nice bakery is the one I always wanted to tell,” said Gilligan.
“In fact, that was my original pitch to the network for Breaking Bad – Jessie sets up nice bakery – but, you know, executives get involved, everyone has ideas and before you know what’s happened, you’ve got a story about a meth-cooking chemistry teacher.”
However, the film will give Gilligan the chance to tell the story he always wanted to.
“Yeah, I think fans are really going to enjoy seeing Jessie doing what he always wanted to do – make some nice cakes.
“I’ll probably also bring in a happy dog and a hilarious grumpy old woman who turns out to be really nice.”
Breaking Bad fans were excited.
“I’m excited,” said a Breaking Bad fan.
“I loved the show, but I always found the drugs, violence and darkness a bit tiresome, I just always wanted to see Jessie setting up a nice bakery.”
The Breaking Bad movie will be ready for 2020 and will, inevitably, be entitled Baking Bad.
