“Weird. I think it’s brilliant” – Tom Hanks baffled by Screen Idle’s dip in popularity

World’s most popular actor Tom Hanks has declared himself baffled by news that hilarious film blog Screen Idle has suffered a quite substantial drop in visitor numbers over the last month meaning that humble Screen Idle proprietor Neil Tollfree, who doesn’t ask for much, only got about $6 off the advertising.

“People aren’t going to Screen Idle very much at the moment? That’s crazy,” explained the Joe and the Volcano superstar.

“I never miss it. I have it written into all my contracts that before we do any filming I have five minutes to enjoy the latest side-splitting articles on Screen Idle and then possibly click on one or two of the adverts as well.

“My favourites are the articles that imagine the sequel to a popular serious film is a musical. They’re always hilarious.”

Tom Hanks wasn’t the only leading actor to express his bafflement at the drop in Screen Idle’s popularity.

“Screen mother****ing Idle?! That’s the mother****ing s**t man. Every one of you mother****ers should be going to that mother****ing site every mother****ing day,” said Samuel L Jackson.

Natalie Portman isn’t just a talented actress and Queen of Naboo, but she also has a Bachelor’s Degree from Harvard, so she really knows what she’s talking about.

“There’s a drop in people visiting the Screen Idle website? I don’t get that. It’s really funny and surprisingly intelligent, and I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Harvard, so I really know what I’m talking about.”

There are even rumours that Gal Gadot has plans to do another YouTube video of her and her mates singing Imagine in support of the beleaguered website.
