Weekend Film Guide 16th February

film guide

Hey you. Its the weekend. A perfect time to complete ignore that massive list of stuff to do you’ve got and sit about in your pants eating biscuits and watching films.

Here’s some movies you may end up watching because you can’t be arsed finding the remote.

Friday

Seven Years in Tibet 19.20 Film4

Feels longer.

Little Nikita 15.45 Sony Movie Channel

Some eighties nonsense about Russian agents. Included because I’ve got that Elton John song going round my head now, and if I’ve got to put up with it, so can you.

Kiss the Girls 23.35 Sony Movie Channel

One of the sixty bazillion serial killer movies released in the wake of Silence of the Lambs. Plot is probably that an unconventional cop has to track down a hyper-intelligent serial killer who turns out to be his partner. It’ll be something like that, they all were.

Saturday

The Third Man 14.15 BBC2

Final part of the Man trilogy, presumably.

Mermaids 11.25 Sony Movie Channel

This has been on every weekend since I started doing this. Cher must have a lot of pull at the Sony Movie Channel.

Wolfcop 11.55 Horror Channel

It’s called Wolfcop, therefore film of the weekend.

Sunday

See no evil, hear no evil 12.30 Sony Movie Channel

He’s blind. He’s deaf. I can only assume there was meant to be some wacky adventures but there really aren’t. Not as funny as Children of a Lesser God.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid 15.35 5Spike

More mucking about on a bike than you remember.

The Secret Sex Life of a Single Mom 21.00 True Movies

One of the biggest Oscar winners in Hollywood history. Changed film forever. Not really. Sub-Channel 5 dreck. Use the Internet if you’re that desperate.
