The Internet has made it clear that it is braced for the flood of stupidity and ignorance that will follow in the wake of any announcement of an all-female MCU movie.

The announcement comes following comments made by Brie Larson that she was ‘passionate’ about an all-female MCU line-up.

“Well, there was a minor flurry of idiocy from men who are scared of ladies when she said that,” explained the Internet.

“But that was nothing to what would happen in the event of a full-on, official movie announcement.”

The Internet sighed, sadly.

“I just wish that people would have a bit of consideration for me and what it’s like to be treated as an opinion sewer for weeks and weeks after any announcement of a woman taking a lead role in a major genre movie or TV show.”

It is understood that, since Larson’s announcement, thousands of repressed and insecure men have been preparing nonsensical diatribes about how women having super-powers is unrealistic because ‘periods.’

“Well, its going to be awful, that’s clear,” continued the Internet.

“Probably not as bad as the female Doctor Who thing, but still bad.”

The Internet sighed wistfully.

“Frankly, I just wish that Coleen could solve a mystery each week or everyone still liked moths.”
