A complete weirdo has announced his intention to continue watching Christmas films despite the fact that Christmas Day has passed.
The weirdo, Kevin McClane, woke early on Boxing day and took to Facebook to state his intention of watching Scrooged, It’s a Wonderful Life and, controversially, Die Hard, as if it were just a normal day in the run-up to Christmas instead of being the first day after Christmas has passed.
“Oh my God,” said friend and colleague Clark W. Bailey.
“I mean, I knew Kev was a bit odd, but watching Christmas films the day after Christmas? It’s absurd, why would you do that?
“Everyone knows you watch Christmas films up to and including Christmas Day lunch, then you switch to beloved childhood trilogies like Back to the Future, Indiana Jones and Pather Panchali and the Apu trilogy.
“I just don’t know what to make of this. Perhaps he’s a terrorist or something.”
Mr McClane was quick to defend his bizarre life-choices
“I just like Christmas films,” said the weirdo, weirdly.
“So, I don’t see why I should just limit my viewing of them to a particular couple of weeks in December.
“Sometimes, I even listen to the Phil Spector Christmas album in June.”
It is understood that Mr McClane will be taken into custody and then be transferred to an institution where he can do no harm to himself or others.
