Tom Cruise issues new video on best toaster setting for great toast

Following a video last week advising everyone to switch off the motion smoothing option on modern TVs, Tom Cruise has followed it up with another tweet explaining the best setting for really good toast.

Clearly enraged by modern toasters failing to adequately toast bread, the three-time Oscar nominee appeared in a thirty second video with a toaster and another man who isn’t Tom Cruise.

“Hi guys, I’m Tom Cruise,” the video begins.

“I’m here with a toaster and a man who isn’t me to implore you to change the settings on your toaster.

“Now, I’ve just made one of the greatest action movies of all time, so I think it’s fair to say that when it comes to toast, I know what I’m talking about.”

The camera the closes in on the toaster dial.

“Most modern toasters have a setting from one to five,” continues the Top Gun star.

“This might lead you to believe that the setting for an averagely toasted slice of toast would be around the 2.5 mark.

“However, and I cannot stress this enough, people, if you use that setting your toast will be only lightly toasted and could even be a little chewy.

“What you’re going to need to do is push that baby up to 3.5 and then you are going to get great toast. Woo! Yeah! Toast!”

Cruise then takes a bite out of a slice of toast, high-fives the other man and the video fades to black.

It is understood that next week he will be releasing a new video on the best bass setting on modern speakers to listen to classic rock.
