The new series of Top Gear will feature Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler and Phoebe joining Joey because why not? Can’t be any worse.
The cast have agreed to reprise their roles on condition they stay in their characters throughout filming.
BBC King, Lord Tony Hall, said, “This is fantastic news for both us and the show.
“Getting one of the cast of Friends was a real coup, and we did think he was the popular one.
“However, viewing figures showed this not to be the case, so we’ve gone ahead and hired the rest of them to present the new series.
“David Schwimmer has greed to bring Ross’s own personal brand of physical comedy to the show which, when combined with heavy pieces of metal and combustible fuels, may prove to be very fruitful.
“Jennifer Aniston will play Rachel as someone who doesn’t know anything about cars, and Phoebe will be our balanced climate change aficionado; something the show has lacked in the past.
“Chandler (Matthew Perry) will not actually drive any of the cars, but will stand at the side of each and every segment offering disparaging, humorous remarks.
“And, of course, Monica will assiduously clean the cars after each segment.
“Obviously, the re-run potential for two shows that are literally on all the time is going to blow people’s minds!”
The new series of Top Gear starts at the end of February and will then be repeated on Dave and Comedy Central until the end of time.
