Revenge of the Sith hits big as fans rush to find out who Anakin Skywalker becomes

Revenge of the Sith has become a box-office smash as fans rush to the cinema to find out who Anakin Skywalker becomes.

“I bet it’s Chewbacca,” said one fan, as he queued to see the final entry in the trilogy of Star Wars prequels.

“I was reckon that he’ll get exposed to some weird version of the Force and then he’ll start growing hair all over his body then he’ll forget how to speak and become Chewbacca.

“It’s been pretty well sign-posted because Anakin is a brilliant pilot and so was Chewie, so it makes sense.”

The film has been rereleased in theatres for its 20th anniversary and fans, hooked by the first two films, have been speculating on exactly what will become of Anakin.

“He’s Admiral Ackbar,” said another fan.

“It’s obvious. He was talking about traps in that last film, Admiral Ackbar loves traps. So Anakin must be Admiral Ackbar.”

But another fan disagreed.

“He’s Ben Kenobi. That makes sense. He’s best friends with Obi-Wan Kenobi. Perhaps they decide to take that friendship to the next level, then they get married and he becomes Ben Kenobi.”

The excitement surrounding the fate of Anakin has made Revenge of the Sith a surprise success at the box office and led to speculation that they might rerelease The Empire Strikes Back so fans can finally find out who is Darth Vader’s son.
