New details of the sequel to Wreck-it Ralph have emerged and, it seems, producers have made the controversial decision to feature an eye-watering amount of pornography.
Expanding on the original’s idea of video game characters like Ralph actually existing, the sequel will see Ralph and friends venturing onto the World Wide Web and contending with pop-up ads, social media and loads and loads of porn.
“Yeah, we know that featuring this much porn in a kids’ cartoon might prove controversial,” said director Rich Moore.
“But what are we going to do? Pretend there’s no porn on the Internet? The Internet is 90% porn, then there’s 6% getting angry about Doctor Who and the rest is Donald Trump. Of course we had to feature porn.”
Whilst there has been some criticism of quite how much porn the film will feature, some parents are quite happy about it.
“No, that’s fine,” said Mum-of-two Amy Stone.
“I appreciate it when kids’ films remember the adults. So my two boys can be laughing at Ralph accidentally knocking things over and I can enjoy the hardcore consensual scenes of same-sex rimming.”
Ralph breaks the Internet: Wreck-it Ralph 2 will be released later this year and will be the first children’s film to feature a promotional tie-in with Pornhub.
