Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is set to arrive on Disney+ on 17th May, giving everyone a chance to ignore it from home.

The blockbuster film, which sees Disney develop the Kang the Conqueror storyline, was widely ignored when it came to cinemas earlier this year, but the home release gives millions more a chance to ignore it from the comfort of their own sofa.

“That new Ant-Man film? It’s coming on Disney+ soon? Oh, I’ll certainly be ignoring that. Definitely,” explained Stewart James, a Disney+ subscriber.

“It’s really good that these films are on Disney+ because with the cinema, it’s a bit more of a faff. You have to think about going to the cinema, and where you’re going to park, and if you’re going to eat beforehand, and then check the website and see Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and then skip past it to see what else is on.

“When it’s on Disney+, it’s easy. Look at new films, see Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, then watch a few old episodes of X-Files and go to bed. Really convenient.”

Kelly Grace is a Disney+ representative.

“Our aim with Disney+ is to provide exclusive content for people to ignore that you won’t find anything else. Thor: Love and Thunder was ignored by millions of people on Disney+ last year and we are fully confident that even more people will be ignoring Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania over the coming weeks and months.”

It is understood that Marvel is considering a less aggressive release schedule for its films, which should give everyone a lot more time to ignore whatever over-excitable trans-dimensional nonsense they churn out in future.
