Oscars: Lady wears dress

The world’s of film and fashion were left stunned this morning after it emerged that a lady wore a dress to the Oscars.

The dress was red, had several small holes to accommodate the lady’s head and two arms and another larger hole which the lady’s legs stuck out of.

There were also reports that it had some frilly bits on.

The BBC broke the news first thing this morning.

“We interrupt this report on climate change, war in the middle east and political turmoil to cut to the Oscars where a lady is wearing a dress,” exclaimed presenter Charlie Stayt, cutting short an interview with the Prime Minister.

“Hello Charlie,” said a humiliated-looking reporter in a tuxedo who had clearly spent several hours outside a Hollywood party, trying to get the likes of James Cordon to take pity on him and give him a smoking hot take on the Best Supporting Actress award.

“I can confirm that the lady just passed me and she was, as had been reported, wearing a dress.

“As she passed, everyone looked at the dress and appreciated that it was a dress and I would imagine that she is now in the party, still wearing the dress and possibly drinking some champagne.

“Incredible, incredible scenes here.”

Further reports seem to indicate that a different lady has also worn a dress to the Oscars, but they are as yet unconfirmed.

It is expected that the news will continue to be interrupted to bring further dress-based Oscar developments.
