Nicolas Cage probably has new film coming out

Hollywood inside-sources are reporting that Nicolas Cage has probably got a film coming out.

With Cage not having had a film released for a month or two now, the reports of a new film appear to have a degree of credibility.

There is a small chance the film will debut at the cinema, but it seems more likely that it will debut somewhere way over on the right-hand side of Netflix, or possibly even on DVD in a local bargain shop.

Not Amazon Prime, though. As, apparently, Cage still got some standards.

The film will probably also feature someone you vaguely remember from a popular TV show in the nineties as the love-interest and a surprisingly well-respected actor who gets shot early on.

The plot is unconfirmed but could be anything from Cage playing a President who is kidnapped by dragons from the future to Cage playing a renegade astronaut with substance issues who decides to go and live on the moon.

If the film is released toward the end of year, it could well turn out to be Cage playing a gangster who has to team up with Santa Claus and a puppy to save an orphanage for in time Christmas.

The film will cost approximately $200 and be directed by someone with a European sounding name who, up until Nicolas Cage signing up to the film, had directed nothing but his brother’s wedding video.

Whatever the nature, cost or quality of the film, it seems certain that at some point during proceedings, Cage will freak out and start shouting.

Which should make the whole affair worthwhile.
