Men demand more men in new Snow White film

A recent trailer for the new Snow White live-action film has left men across the internet infuriated that there aren’t more men in the film.

“Typical woke anti-man BS,” exclaimed Kevin Man, a man.

“Snow White? Oh what a surprise, it’s a woman. The evil Queen? A woman. It’s just filling up quotas and box-ticking. Put all the women in, we don’t need men. Well, I certainly won’t be going to see it.”

Jeffery Bloke, another man, was equally scathing.

“I’m pretty sure that the original cartoon didn’t just sideline the men. I mean, I can’t remember the exact details but I’m pretty sure the Evil Queen had a husband who went out to work. Snow White had a father who was just trying to look after his daughter.

“Where are they in this one? Completely written out, all for the PC-agenda.”

Mr Bloke even put together a brief treatment of what a more even-handed version of the story might look like.

“The Evil King and the Evil Queen are evil, so they decide to get Snow White with a poisoned apple but luckily her boyfriend, who’s just a nice guy actually, he manages to rescue her from the apple and they run into the forest where they meet the dwarves. While Snow White cleans up their house and makes them all dinner, her boyfriend trains all the dwarves in basic combat techniques and then launches an attack on the evil King and Queen while Snow White waits at home all nice and safe.

“That’s a good, entertaining, modern version of the story that doesn’t, for once, sideline all the men,” said Mr Bloke, who left an email address where studios could contact him.

As yet, no studios have done so.
