New Jurassic World: Superhero dinosaurs? Dinosaur president? Dinosaur nudity? Latest rumours

A new Jurassic World film has been confirmed. As yet, there have been no plot details, but there are plenty of rumours about the direction the film will take. We round up the most compelling here.

Superhero dinosaurs

With the huge proliferation and popularity of dinosaur films over the last decade and a half, it would be a surprise if there wasn’t some sort of superhero/dinosaur crossover at some point.

In the Jurassic World, dinosaurs and humans coexist, but dinosaurs are shunned and forced to live in dino-ghettos. So a corrupt industrialist, probably played by someone British, builds a poor quality chemical plant in one of these ghettos. One day, there is a chemical leak all over a dinosaur and he develops super-strength, the ability to fly, and shoot lasers from his eyes.

The super-dinosaur uses his powers to investigate the industrialist and finds that he has unsafe chemical plants all over the world, and that one of them is about to leak chemicals onto a human orphanage. The super-dinosaur intervenes, saves the orphans, and a new-found respect between humans and dinosaurs develops.

Dinosaur President

America experiences a crisis after the President is arrested and put in prison for an array of crimes. A new election is announced, but constitutional scholars find an obscure amendment that gives dinosaurs the right to run for President and to vote in elections.

A Tyrannosaurus rex runs for president and, to everyone’s surprise, wins. Initially, there is much comedy as it rampages round the White House, smashing things up and accidentally eating the ambassador from Chile.

Soon, though, the dino-President comes to take his role seriously, and his closeness to the natural world gives him an earthy wisdom. He introduces countless reforms that benefit human and dinosaur alike and becomes the most popular President in history.

Dinosaur nudity

Jurassic World films have traditionally been for all the family, but there are some who believe that an adult spin-off – Jurassic World Nights – could be a viable property.

A free-spirited young diplodocus begins an affair with an older man, the affair strays into BDSM and role-play. Seeking more extreme pleasure, the pair join swinging clubs and find themselves in an ever darker, more erotic lifestyle.

The film would be even more explicit than Jurassic Park 3 with full-frontal dino-nudity and various no-holds-barred acts. Many believe there is a large crossover between the Jurassic World and Fifty Shades of Grey fanbases, and this film could tap into that group.

These seem like the most likely plots for a new Jurassic World, but there other rumoured plots including Dinosaurs teaming up with humans to foil an alien invasion, a dinosaur time-travels back to medieval times, and a sequel to last years hit Past Lives, but with dinosaurs.
