John Grisham’s latest novel will tell the story of an idealistic young Texas lawyer and his struggles to write a novel that is ready in time for the holidays.
The protagonist – Don Gricham – begins the book fresh out of law school in high demand from top law firms all around the country, but he wants to use his law degree to follow his dream – to write a successful series of novels about idealistic lawyers using the law to help people.
“It’s definitely not autobiographical, it’s an entirely fictional story about a lawyer who writes novels,” confirmed the lawyer who writes novels.
“It’s very exciting, I really feel like I’ve explored the narrative of an idealistic lawyer using the law to help people, and now I’m going to branch off into a whole new world of idealistic lawyers writing novels about idealistic lawyers using the law to help people.”
“It’s like a different world.”
Although nothing has been confirmed, it is thought that an adaptation of the novel is already in development at a major studio, although the story may be changed to an idealistic young lawyer trying to make a major summer tentpole picture.
If successful, Mr Grisham’s next book is expected to be about an idealistic young lawyer trying to write a novel about an idealistic young lawyer trying to write a novel.
