Beauty and the Beast fans were left delighted by the news that there is a new animated version of the live action version of the animated version of Beauty and the Beast is on the way.
The live action version of the animated version of Beauty and the Beast took a staggering $1.2billion at the box office and is one of Disney’s biggest hits since the animated version of Beauty and the Beast came out.
“Okay, so Beauty is a big hit. Colossal. How do you follow it up?” said a Disney insider.
“Our first thought was, we love Beauty, but it’s very 2017. How ‘bout we remake it for 2022? You know, have Harry Styles play the girl and the kids from Stranger things standing on each other’s shoulders playing the beast. You know, really bring it right up to date.”
“But the kids from Stranger Things were doing Stranger Things and Harry, and we love Harry, but he didn’t have the acting chops to pull off a feisty medieval teenage girl.”
“Then we thought about doing a black and white version in French, but who’s going to watch that, right?”
Happily, it didn’t take long for someone to come up with the perfect idea.
“Yeah, it was Larry. We were kicking round ideas and Larry just went ‘Hey, everyone loves the live action version of the animated version of Beauty, right?’ We went ‘right,’ and he goes ‘so we do an animated version of the live action version of the animated version of Beauty,’ they’ll eat it up’”
“Boom. Genius. But that’s Larry for you.”
It is expected that if the animated version of the live action version of the animated version of Beauty and the Beast is the hit that is expected, it will be followed swiftly by a live action version of the animated version of the live action version of the animated version of Beauty and the Beast.
