Loki and Scarlet Witch sitcom planned

Disney has announced that it is planning a Loki and Scarlet Witch sitcom.

The programme, to be called The Wacky Adventures of Loki and the Scarlet Witch is expected to be a major draw for Disney’s new, as yet unnamed, streaming service.

“I’m super-psyched about this show,” said Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige.

“You’ve got Loki and Scarlet Witch, and they decide to set up a hotdog cart because, you know, being a trickster and a witch is fine, but it doesn’t pay too great.

“But, uh-oh, they’ve accidentally set up their hotdog cart outside Thanos’ office. So, you know, they’re selling their hotdogs and Thanos walks past and they’ve got to pretend that they’re not Loki and the Scarlet Witch, so they go ‘oh no, its Thanos,’ and they have to hide or wear a disguise or pretend to be French or something.”

The Marvel boss also confirmed that we will be seeing other classic Marvel characters in the show.

“Yeah, I don’t want to give too much away, but there’s a certain green guy who comes by every day for a hotdog and he’s like ‘hey Scarlet Witch and Loki,’ and they’re like ‘who’re Scarlet Witch and Loki?’ and Hulk gets all confused and angry and smashes something up.

“Man, I tell you, wacky comedy is never far away with these guys.”

Although unconfirmed, there are strong rumours that another sitcom is planned in which Spiderman goes to live in London and really shakes up those stuffy Brits with his crazy American ways.

It will, apparently, feature ‘hilarious consequences.’
