With the final scenes of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom indicating that dinosaurs will encroach on human civilization, producers have confirmed exactly how that will happen.
“Okay, so this is going to blow your mind,” explained producer Frank Marshall.
“We open in an office, its clear we’re seeing everything from the point of view of a guy who works there and he walks through the office and colleagues are saying ‘hey’ and he walks some more and then he reaches his desk.
“So, he sits down and then, and this is wild, the hand that reaches out to switch on the monitor is green and scaly.
“Then, bang! The camera smashes back and its not a human, it’s a velociraptor and it’s wearing a tie!”
Marshall went on to explain that dinosaurs and humans live alongside each other now.
“We see how intelligent those raptors are in the first two films so, you know, they can handle the jobs of an average office worker, and you end up with people and dinosaurs and just working together and living in the same buildings.
However, not all dinosaurs work in offices.
“No, and right there is the plot,” exclaims Marshall.
“You’ve got some of the other dinosaurs like diplodocuses and Tyrannosaurus Rexes and they’re not quite as smart as the raptors so they end up doing menial jobs like cleaners or game-show hosts.”
The film will go on to show how those dinosaurs’ resentment grows into out-and-out conflict and climaxes in a mighty showdown between smart dinosaurs and humans against cleaners, game-show hosts and diplodocuses.
Jurassic World III: At the Office is due in 2022.
