Fans left reeling as new House of the Dragon episode sees everyone make up, have nice party

a dragon which features in house of the dragons. It's a moody sunset that's possibly from a cheap computer game because it's hard to find decent images with no licensing.

Fans of popular boobs and magic show House of the Dragon were left stunned by this week’s latest episode that saw everyone make up and have a nice party.

“I couldn’t believe it, a nice party! It was literally the last thing I expected,” said one online commentator.

Whilst Season 2 had been, up until now, playing out the the factional war that season 1 had set up. But the latest episode changed everything.

***SPOILERS***

The episode began with a messenger rushing to present Rhaenyra with a document. On opening, she finds it is an invitation to Alicent’s birthday party, it stipulates fancy dress with an animal theme.

At first, Rhaenyra believes the invitation to be a trap. But decides that going to a nice party is worth the risk. She, Daemon, and all her other friends decide to dress up as farm animals, and travel to the Red Keep where they are welcomed by clowns and musicians.

At first the are nervous and wary, but calm down after being served jelly and ice cream. Soon, they are all playing pass-the-parcel and musical chairs with Alicent and her friends and then, at the end of the evening, everyone is tired but happy and Rhaenyra declares it to be the greatest night she’s ever had. She and Alicent make up and resolve never to fight again.

Now everyone has made up and had a nice party, the show has naturally come to an end, and the other episodes of the season cancelled, along with the planned three more seasons.

Fans of Westeros need not fear though as a new Game of Thrones show is already in the works. A sequel to the original, it is set in the 1980s and sees the Starks attempt to dominate the newly emerging Westeros rap scene.
