Glitch in space/time continuum sees ever-growing pile of Terminators at Griffith Observatory

Some sort of glitch in the space/time continuum has seen a huge pile of terminators appear outside the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles as every few seconds another portal from the future opens and a terminator appears in exactly the same spot as all the others.

“We know that the machines in the future sent back a terminator to kill Sarah Connor,” said Stewart James, a baffled Griffith Observatory astronomer, as yet another terminator fell through a portal onto the pile of terminators.

“But they must have got their calculations wrong or forgot to carry the one or something, because instead of just one terminator appearing and going off to kill Sarah Connor, the portal just keeps reappearing and each time the terminator comes through it.

“It started yesterday, there must be a thousand of them now. They can’t move. Every time they try and get up another terminator comes through the portal and knocks them over.”

The sound of the terminator’s voices is becoming louder and louder.

“They’re just all saying ‘Your clothes, give them to me’ over and over again. Yesterday, it was hard to make out what they were saying, now it’s pretty loud. If this keeps going on, it’s going to becoming deafening. You’ll be able to hear them all over LA.”

The concern now is that the portals may never stop opening.

“That’s the scary scenario. If the terminator keeps coming through the portal over and over again then the pile of terminators is going to cover the whole of the United States and reach up to the clouds.”

However, Professor James doesn’t think that will happen.

“I suspect the space/time continuum will ultimately correct itself and the portals will stop appearing. But that will leave us with a huge army of terminators.

“Which I guess is how the machines ultimately end up taking over the world.”
