Game of Thrones prequel cancelled due to insufficient boobs

HBO has shocked the industry by cancelling the Game of Thrones prequel after the production of the pilot.

“Not enough boobs,” explained HBO exec Stewart James.

“There was some side-boob in a bedroom scene and you could see some boobs through a window in the distance in another, and that was it.

“That is nowhere near enough boobs for Game of Thrones. Particularly a pilot.”

James went on to explain what he’d been expecting.

“Well a hell of a lot more boobs, and some butt as well.

“So, I guess, I don’t know, open in a castle. Dramatic music. Camera swoops in through a window – bang! Hot girl with no bra on! That’s an opening! That’s how you grab people.

“Then, you know, pan across a scene of hot girls taking their tops off because, I don’t know, it’s warm.

“Then you’re onto something. It’s Game of Thrones. It feels like Game of Thrones. Throw in a massive dude cutting off another dude’s head and a big dragon setting fire to stuff and we’re in business.”

The new pilot, apparently, did not meet those standards.

“Just a bunch of people talking. Now that’s fine if they’ve got no clothes on, but otherwise it’s just not going to work.”

However, fans of the popular show need not despair as HBO immediately commissioned a new prequel – Boobs of Thrones.

“Now, THAT’S got some boobs!”
