Every man, woman and child in the country has decided to dress up as Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker for Halloween.
“Yeah, I thought it would be really good, a bit edgy, you know?” said Kelly Grace, an IT consultant who has dressed up as the Joker for her company’s Halloween fancy dress day.
“But, it’s back-fired completely as literally every other person here has dressed as the Joker as well.
“It’s really difficult to tell who anyone is and everyone keeps shouting ‘is it me, or is everyone getting crazier out there’ which is actually pretty distracting when you’re trying to debug a 2000-line java script.”
Teacher Stewart James similarly seemed to regret his choice of costume.
“I can’t believe that everyone else thought to dress up as the Joker, I thought I’d be the only one,” he complained.
“But all the parents were dressed as Joker and they brought in all the kids who are dressed as Joker and now I’ve got to teach geography to thirty-five ten-year-olds who are dressed as Joker.
“Which is freaking me the hell out.”
It had been reported that one child in Newcastle had decided to dress up as a ghost and not as the Joker.
However, that report has turned out to be false as she revealed she was actually the ghost of Joker and took off her white sheet to reveal a Joker costume underneath.
