Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot and her friends have announced that now they’ve recorded a video of them all singing The Birdie Song.
This comes in the wake of the video they released last week of them all singing John Lennon’s Imagine in an attempt to show the world that there are some things even worse than coronavirus.
The new video will begin with Gal Gadot singing ‘da-da da-da da-da da,’ then having Will Ferrell sing ‘da-da da-da da-da da’ back to her.
Other celebrities such as Zoe Kravitz, Mark Ruffalo and Natalie Portman then round out the first verse.
The celebrities then launch into the little heard vocals for the Birdie Song, with Kristen Wiig singing ‘With a little bit of this,’ followed by Jimmy Fallon singing ‘and a little bit of that,’ before going back to Gal Gadot who sings ‘and shake your arse.’
The video then goes on far too long before finally stopping and making you wonder why you watched it to the end.
There seems no reason to believe Gadot and her friends will stop there, and it seems likely that we will see further video collaborations from the celebrities that might include such classics as Chas and Dave’s Snooker Loopy, Cotton-Eye Joe by Rednex, and, most worryingly of all, Two Princes by The Spin Doctors.
These truly are desperate times.
