Man makes friends with ants and they go and foil crimes. He goes to visit magical land of special effects and the end, and everyone thinks he won’t be able to come back, but then he comes back and everyone agrees that he is the best Ant-man that ever there was.

To achieve the effect of human-sized ants, human-sized ants were bred in a giant ant-farm in New Guinea, where they all still live.

Paul Rudd was actually mortally afraid of ants so, in order for him to go on set, the ants were all disguised as horses and they CGI was used to turn them back into ants.

Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas bonded on set over the principles of revolutionary communism and have since organised a communist coup in Africa.

The giant, terrifying Thomas the Tank Engine was played by chameleonic acting legend Meryl Streep
