Epic Dune Part Two trailer sees Paul Atreides make love with a sandworm

The epic new trailer for Dune Part Two has dropped and ends with the incredible scene of Paul Atreides making love with a sandworm.

The love scene between Paul and the sandworm is among the most highly anticipated moments of the sequel for fans of the book, many of whom were disappointed that we didn’t see it in the first film.

“Having sex with a sandworm is one of the most important episodes on Paul’s journey, it makes him the man who is able to lead the Fremen,” explained Dune expert, Barry Dune.

“Having a giant sandworm for a girlfriend is what ultimately convinces the Fremen that he is special. That he’s different.

“I think it should have been the climax of the first film, but whatever. As long as they do it justice. I expect to see Paul and the sandworm both fully nude, foreplay and then full sex where you get to see everything.”

Director Denis Villeneuve was confident fans would enjoy the moment.

“I think we’ve done it justice. I don’t think you’ll have seen a love scene quite like this one. The sheer size of the sandworm gives everything a scale most love scenes can’t command, and our designers have created a sand worm which, when fully nude, is vast and erotic and strange and sexy. I’m very proud of this scene and fans are going to love it.”

From what has been promised and already seen, it does look like the love scene between Paul and the sand worm is shaping up to be the most unusual since the deleted love scene between Chewbacca, Yoda, and C3-P0 that was included as part of the extras on the first Star Wars DVD release.
