EA reveals revolutionary new grass physics for FIFA 20

EA has revealed that the latest iteration of their hugely popular football game will contain revolutionary new grass physics that will model the behaviour of grass in real life.

“Yeah, each blade of in-game grass has been modelled on the exact blade of grass in the stadium, as far as you know,” explained EA representative Stewart James.

“That means the grass will behave exactly as it would in real life – growing an immeasurably small amount during a match and looking green.”

Mr James suggested that the new grass physics will enhance the realism of the simulation.

“Oh sure, we are going all out to convince the very best players that they are really going to believe that they can feel the difference.

Fans were excited.

“I’m excited,” tweeted @FifaMental, a fan.

“Lifelike modelling of grass? It’s what I’ve wanted ever since I’ve read that this year’s FIFA will have lifelike modelling of grass.”

Mr James also went on the explain the other changes for this year’s iteration.

“Right, well, I guess we’ve got a new song for the advert. British group. I forget who.

“So, yeah, new song for the advert, new grass physics. All the reason you need to throw away FIFA 19 and buy FIFA 20.”

The new grass physics follow on from last year’s exciting addition of lifelike nasal hair physics and the previous year’s addition of realistic air physics.
