Dr Strange trailer appears to confirm Star Trek: The Next Generation crew are joining The Avengers

The new Dr Strange trailer appears to confirm the long-running rumour that the Star Trek: The Next Generation crew are joining The Avengers.

Midway through the trailer, the voice of Captain Picard of Star Trek: The Next Generation can be heard wondering if they ‘should tell him the truth.’

“It would be weird to have Captain Picard, but not have Geordi, Data, and Troi,” explained Kelly Grace, Professor of Star Trek at Cambridge University.

“So, the whole crew must be joining The Avengers. There’s no other explanation. Makes sense really, I mean Worf is really strong, Troi can read minds, Data is an Android, Riker is brilliant at saxophone. These are all actually pretty good superpowers. It’ll be great to see them all line up with Spiderman, Batman, Rocket Man, and everyone else.”

The Star Trek: The Next Generation Enterprise crew have been rumoured to be joining The Avengers since MCU started.

“It was always thought that the X-Men was part of the Star Trek universe and Q gave Picard mind-reading powers abut erased his memory, leaving him on earth as Professor X,” continued Professor Grace.

“I would imagine that in this Dr Strange film, this is a different reality where Riker and everyone came to earth and rescued him and now the crew are just getting into new adventures together, and now they’re ready to join The Avengers.

Marvel producer Kevin Feige has yet to comment on the matter with a representative quoted as saying ‘I’ve told you before, stop phoning this number or we’ll call the police.’

There are also rumours that having the Next Generation crew joining the Avengers could lead to Captain Kirk, Spock and Bones join The Avengers. Professor Grace disagreed.

“Well. No. Obviously No. They’re a couple of hundred years older than Picard’s crew, so that would never work. Stupid idea. What are you thinking”
