‘Doing The Hoovering Simulator 2’ promises most accurate recreation of doing the hoovering ever

The newly announced Doing the Hoovering Simulator 2 is promising the most accurate recreation of doing the hoovering ever seen in a game.

Doing the Hoovering Simulator was a surprise hit, with many gamers enjoying the gentle yet slightly exotic task of hoovering. It was critically well thought of, although the general consensus was that hoovering under the sofa and into the corners didn’t really work as well is it should.

“We’ve taken onboard that criticism from the first game,” said lead designer Stewart James.

“I think it’s fair to say we made some compromises with the first game and certainly, the hoovering under the sofa mechanic was one. Although, I do stand by the hoovering in room corners gameplay. I thought that was nicely done.

“That said, we’ve really tightened up all the hoovering in this game. We’ve watched thousands and thousands of hours of people doing the hoovering, we’ve spoken with real people who do the hoovering for real. Hell, we’ve even done the hoovering ourselves. Everyone who’s worked on the game as done some hoovering at some point.

“That’s why I’m confident that doing the hoovering in Doing the Hoovering Simulator 2 is as realistic, as accurate as has ever been seen in a game. It gives you exactly the same feeling of slightly bored satisfaction you would get if you were doing the hoovering but without actually doing the hoovering.

“I would say that if you have any interest in doing the hoovering at all, then you owe it to yourself to play this game.”

Doing the Hoovering Simulator 2 will be released later this year and is expected to be as popular as last year’s Going For a Walk Simulator and possibly even as successful as the all-time classic Sitting on the Sofa Watching a Bit of Telly Simulator.
