The dog who lives with Deckard in Blade Runner 2049 could well be a replicant, claimed a dreadfully tedious bastard.
Ryan Harrison, a desperately dull man from Cardiff, made the claim in a Facebook post earlier in the week.
“I reckon,” read the post.
“That the dog is probably a replicant, because, if you think about it, Deckard fell in love with a replicant and when that shut down, he probably used all its wires and circuits to make a replicant dog.
“It’s obvious, when you think about it.”
The post, which has since been liked my Mr Harrison’s mum after he told her to like it, has so far gained little traction amongst a science fiction community who’ve had to suffer thirty-five years of monotonous, boring discussion on whether or not Deckard is a replicant.
Mr Harrison wasn’t worried.
“Yeah, I mean, it’s a pretty deep theory to grasp when you think about it. A dog? Being a replicant? I mean, not everyone is going to be able to get their head round that.
“Trust me though, in a few years everyone is going to accept it as fact and they’ll be going ‘oh yeah, the dog in Blade Runner 2049? Definitely a replicant, Ryan was right all along. God, I’m so stupid,’ and I’ll be like – ‘yeah, I was right. Obviously. Whatever. Don’t worry about it.’”
It is understood that Mr Harrison’s theory about Deckard’s dog might not be his last soul-destroyingly wearisome insight into the film and, apparently, he plans to publish a Facebook post claiming that Officer K’s boss is also a replicant.
It is thought Facebook have made no preparations for extra traffic after the post.

I thoroughly understand Br and 2049 probably more then this dude. He sounds like he doesn’t even know the replicants in scotts universe are synthetic humans and not androids like in the books. They are human in everyway, organs, muscle, brains eyes, but they are synthetic, probably made of the same synthetic protein Wallace uses for his protein farms. Meaning yea, everyone is basically eating replicant meat.
And the dog acted strange and smarter then usual, it was more observant and it knew when the other replicants were coming before they were even in the air space of deckards hide out, so either this Is a dog with super dog senses, or its a replicant who could sense other hostile replicants on their way and got out of the room.
and synthetic protein can be programmed and techno manipulated, with them able to make replicants smarter stronger, weaker, more obedient.
Deckards gen of blade runners were made smarter and weaker then the other replicants off world, simply due to the fact that replicants were out lawed on earth. But they were smarter so they could be adept investigators, with K, the ban was lifted, so K’s gen was made just as smart, but just as strong physically if not stronger then previous gens. But Wallace personal replicants were made even stronger then a br.
Which is why luv kicked K’s ass, and this is all why Deckard got his butt kicked to. Roy was an off world replicant, a combat model, and K was probably based on the previous roy model, and previous blade runner models.
That’s how you know Deckard is a replicant, and they tell you through the quote from treasure island when Decakrd meets K. In the book what does Jim think to himself about the marooned pirate he meets?
That if there had been different circumstances, the marooned man could of been jim, that the man was just like jim, probably started off just like jim, he thinks to himself, that he is alike with this man, they know the same people and share many common traits. Which is telling us, deckard and K are more alike then the most obvious parallels.
