Confusion and panic at Apple as no one can remember title of Martin Scorsese’s new film

Apple Studios has been engulfed in panic and confusion as no one can remember the name of Martin Scorsese’s new film and is too embarrassed to ask.

“He’s the greatest living film director. You can’t be going up to him going ‘say, Marty, your new film’s title is so forgettable that no-one can remember what it’s called,’ that would be awful,” said one Apple exec.

“I think there’s something flowers or trees in the title. I don’t know. He’s personally told me what it is a couple of times and each time it’s gone in one ear and out the other, it’s just impossible to remember.

“I figured Jeff, over in marketing, would know what it was, but he said he thought it was Night of the something or other. So, we started asking around and everyone was the same, they go to tell you the film’s name and then pause, look a bit confused, and then admit they can’t bring it to mind.”

The film is due for release in October.

“Yeah, that’s going to be difficult,” continued the film.

“We’re telling everyone that we’re really excited about Marty’s new picture and blagging it. But, you know, we can’t have a poster with ‘Marty’s New Picture’ on it and a picture of Robert DeNiro on it – is it a DeNiro one? Or is this one Leo? God, this is driving me nuts.”

Martin Scorsese’s new film – Something About Flowers or Trees or Possibly the Night? – will be released in cinemas in Autumn, and then will be available on the Apple TV streaming service.
