Comedian launches podcast which sees him watch every episode of a TV show until realising no one cares

Two wacky guys making wacky fces. Comedian launches podcast

A popular panel show comedian has announced plans for a podcast in which he watches an episode of a TV show every week until he realises that no one cares.

“It’s a mad idea. I must be mad! Watching episodes of a TV show and then podcasting about them. MAD!” said Jeremy Git, a wacky bastard who was on Mock the Week twice and is a regular guest on the hilarious ‘nobs and knockers’ podcast.

He has yet to settle on exactly which TV show to watch.

“I was thinking maybe of doing Knight Rider,” he said, with grim inevitability.

“My first idea was the A-Team, but Hugh Dennis did that about six years ago. Watched the first six episodes before he realised no one cares. Did some very funny stuff about how BA wouldn’t get on a plane.”

The podcast will have Jeremy read out a synopsis of that week’s episode, do a couple of riffs about how things were quite different when the TV show was on, promote some upcoming gigs and finally try and sell you some mugs with the podcast logo on because he bought far too many and they’re clogging up his dad’s garage.

After the first four or five episodes, there will be a gap of three weeks while Jeremy has a crisis of confidence because only 36 people have subscribed and he begins to suspect that no-one cares. The podcast will then enthusiastically return with an apology and a promise that there will be a regular weekly episode from then on.

That will be the final episode.
